Suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday December 19 2018 after a long, relentless battle with mental illness he laid down his sword at his chosen place of peace. In his 34th year our precious John is now at peace in the arms of Jesus. Loving son of Joe and Jane (nee Walsh) Mastrandrea. Cherished

brother of Laura Mastrandrea (Jason) and Mark Mastrandrea (Tristian). Uncle to the Light of his Life Winifred (Winnie). John was loved and will be deeply missed by all his aunts, uncles cousins and friends. Special friend of Brittney and Lisa.

Predeceased by his cousin Darren Walsh. John was passionate in his profession as he strongly advocated and cared deeply for his clients. Those that knew John recognize his heart was as big as his laugh. Special thank you to Dr. Vasudev, and the Lucan OPP.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, December 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Prayers will be held at 2 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street, on Friday, December 28th at 11 o'clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dale Brain Injury Services (ELF Fund) (www.daleservices.on.ca) would be appreciated.
