Obituary of Henricus 'Harry' Hoevenaars

HOEVENAARS, Henricus 'Harry' Passed away peacefully with his wife and his daughter at his side on January 3, 2014 at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved and devoted husband of Hendrika 'Rikki'. Loving father of Elaine Tessolini (Ron) of Banff, Tony Hoevenaars (Lynne) of Aurora, Rick Hoevenaars (Gail) of London, Mike Hoevenaars of Uxbridge, Bob Hoevenaars (Nancy) of London, and Ken Hoevenaars (Mary) of LaSalle. Cherished Opa of Moneca, Jenna, Jeff, Paul, Alex, Eric, Derek, Richelle, Erin, Matthew, Lisa, Colin, Darren, Danielle, Jocelyn, Evan, Clare, and Neil. Loving great Opa of eight great grandchildren. Dear brother and uncle of his extended family in Holland. Brother-in-law of Peggy Van Geffen (Gerry) of Ottawa and Emma Hoevenaars of London. He will live in our hearts forever as a tremendous example of unconditional love, dedication, loyalty, perseverance and strength. Harry loved life and made anyone he was with, love it with him. He will be missed by each person touched by his love and friendship. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street on Wednesday morning January 8, 2014 at 11 o'clock. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 6:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Life Water Canada (www.lifewater.ca), Palliative Care at Victoria Hospital, the V.O.N. or the London Regional Cancer Program.
