Obituary of Avril Madden

MADDEN, Avril - It is with immense sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Avril Madden on Tuesday, March 5 at the age of 37. She will be deeply missed by her husband Kelly Armstrong and her beloved daughters Ivy Johanna and Maeve Catherine, her mother Catherine Madden, father Jimmy Madden, brother John Madden and family. Avril was a gentle free spirit who loved traveling and the outdoors, snowboarding and mountain climbing, hiking and camping with her girls. She wanted to be the best mother and grandmother "ever". Avril lived a wonderful and full 37 years. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Road West on Monday morning March 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
