Michael, we never met but I knew your mom through my aunt Kathy Pittam and the group from the condo. She was a great friend to my mom (Carol Anne) Kathy's sister and to Kathy. After mom passed, we tried to keep Kathy in her home for as long as we could and I spent alot of time with your mom.
This one day, we noticed that Dora came home from grocery shopping and left her trunk open. Kathy being the little jokester she was, thought we should play a joke on her. So we went and stole her groceries and hid on the other side of my van until she came out. 10 mins later Dora comes out and looks in her trunk and is looking around confused. She figured it out very quickly because Kathy couldn't stop giggling. That little joke kept Kathy giggling and telling everyone for months. Even after Kathy had to go into a home your mom still messaged me asking about Kathy. She was a very special lady. I hope my mom, Kathy and Dora are still having their little dinner parties and having a blast. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. She will be greatly missed.

On behalf of all of us, (Mary Ann, Ken, Adrienne & Michael, Jennifer & Mark), we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences on the loss of our dear Dora. Dora was a very special lady who always made everyone feel better just by being around her. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

It is with a heavy heart that I learned of Dora's passing. I did not know that she was ill and our last contact was last Thanksgiving after she returned from your place for Thanksgiving. She was anxious to sit down and eat her leftover turkey.
It is my hope that she did not suffer and was able to pass peacefully.
I am not able to attend the funeral tomorrow but wanted you to know that my heart and prayers are with you and the family at this hard time.
Yvonne and Dora were such good friends and Dora was like part of our family. We shared many times together her, Yvonne and Dad and smile at the memories.
I have enclosed a picture of Dora and Yvonne., I'm not sure when it was taken but it was used at Yvonne's memorial service. I do hope that they will re-connect in another life and contineu their friendship.
Please know that we are thinking of you and the family during this difficult time.
