Obituary of Italo Basacco

Basacco, Italo Benito Peacefully with his family by his side at LHSC Victoria Hospital on Thursday, December 10, 2015. Italo Basacco passed away at the age of 77 years. Loving husband of Lirina (nee Di Monaco) for 44 years. Beloved father of Riccardo (Teresa) Basacco, Alessandra Basacco, Stefania Basacco (Vikram) and Lucia Rosa Basacco. Proud Nonno of Valença and Monaco Basacco. Predeceased by his parents Loreto and Rosina Basacco. Italo will be greatly missed by family and friends in Canada and Italy. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, December 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Prayers Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Donations to Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
