We met, and got to know Pat Clancy at the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in London. We always sat in the pew right behind him and Jessie, and spent a little time before each service sharing our personal stories.
Pat who is a dear friend of ours had a warm and caring approach to all whose lives he touched. His sense of humor was a quality we enjoyed a lot. We generally asked him to pray for us, and all he asked of us was to say an Our Father for him.
Recently, on hearing the loss of my Mother Sheila Medley, Pat chose to offer a mass for her, and now it is time for us to pay it forward. We are deeply saddened at the loss of our dear friend.
May God bless your soul in peace, Pat, and may our loving Father have mercy on you, and bring you to the fullness of eternal joy.
