Obituary of John Circelli

Circelli, John After a courageous battle John died peacefully at home on October 14th, 2015 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Maria Concetta (Del Re) of 65 years. Dear father of Sal (Anna) and Mike (Gini). Beloved Nonno of Jonathan (Marlene), Erin (Rob) Russell, Jean-Paul (Amanda), Jenna, Matthew and Joseph (Karissa). "Big" Nonno of Theo, Ethan, Noah and Salvatore. Dear brother of Nicolino (Michelina) Circelli and brother-in-law of Pasqualina Circelli, Maria D'Andrea, Michele (Maria) Del Re, Giuseppina (Francesco) D'Arrisso and Antonietta Pepe. Predeceased by his siblings Michele, Antonio (Filomena), and Carmela (Antonio) Circelli, and his in-laws Salvatore D'Andrea and Pasquale Pepe. After arriving from Italy with his family in 1955, John immediately became a proud flag flying Canadian. He always lived a modest life. During the summers along with friends and family, John spent every available Sunday along the beaches of Ipperwash and during the fall he could be counted on supporting the CCH Crusaders football team. John will be missed by many family and friends. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, October 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday evening at 8:15 o'clock. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund or to the London Regional Cancer Program c/o LHSF.ca would be appreciated.
