Doyle, Amey Elizabeth (nee McTaggart) Passed away peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in her 90th year. Loving wife of the late Cliff. Beloved mother of Steve (Lynn) and fiercely proud "Grandma Tiger" of Scott. Predeceased by her sister Helen (Gerald) Bailey, brother Wallace, sisters-in-law Joan Kells, Marie Bell, Mary Doyle and Ruth McTaggart, brothers-in-law Art Doyle and George Bell, all of Belleville. Born in Thomasburg, Amey moved first to Belleville then Toronto, and finally to London in 1955. She was a proud member of the Birds and Bees and of her "Nasty Nine" group who played cards and bowled together for many years. Amey fondly remembered her time living in Old South on Wortley Road. Amey enjoyed watching her husband and son curl and the good times spent with her friends at Highland Golf and Country Club. Amey particularly liked friends and family dropping in for a chat and a few laughs, and dining at Michael's On The Thames for special occasions. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday evening, August 14th from 7-9 o'clock with the funeral service on Saturday, August 15th at 11:30 am. Cremation has taken place.
