Obituary of James Cormack Adams

Adams, James Cormack Suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre - University Hospital on Monday, May 18th, 2015, James Cormack Adams in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Rosemary Adams (nee Cooper) of 44 years. Survived by his children, Denise, Stephanie, Lisa and Mary C and their families. Loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and great grandfather of 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Jean (Andrew) Fotheringhame. Cherished Uncle of his 5 nieces and their families. Jim will be fondly remembered by his extended family in Scotland. Jim joined the Boys Service in Scotland at the age of 15, and continued to serve with the Royal Navy for 15 years as a Radio Operator, stationed throughout the world. After arriving in Canada, Jim was employed with Transport Canada and was teaching new recruits for Air traffic Controllers in Ottawa, and continued his career as a Regional Airport Manager throughout Ontario until his retirement. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Tuesday, May 26th from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 noon. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
