Obituary of Donald Wilfrid Cardinal

Donald Wilfrid Cardinal Passed away peacefully on February 26, 2015 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Colleen (nee Doran). Loving father of Christopher and his wife Lynn May, Suzanne and her husband Tony Pountney, Andrew and his wife Kendra and Rebecca and her fiance Greg Ostrom. Cherished Pepe of Jonathan Cardinal and his fiancee Laura McGugan, Courtney Cardinal, Megan May and Max May. Predeceased by brothers Albert and Raymond, sister Elaine and twin brother Ronald who passed away on February 23, 2015. Les Jumeaux, ensemble. Don was a teacher, a woodworker, a coach, a friend, a mentor, a demon slayer, a dear uncle, brother and son-in-law. Nothing was more important to Don than spending time with his family, especially on the Bruce. His endless optimism and positivity while facing Alzheimers' was an inspiration. Special thank you to the staff at both Lion's Head Hospital and Golden Dawn LTC, Lion's Head. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, March 2nd from 6 until 9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
