Obituary of John Joseph Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick John Joseph Fitzpatrick passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family, on January 27th 2015. Loving husband of Bernadette for 57 years. Loving father of Bernadette Somers (Matthew) of London, Ontario; Charlotte Hough (Eric) of St. Catherines; Sean (Rachelle and her sister Denise) and Neil Fitzpatrick, both of Toronto; Kevin (Karen) of Scotland. Loving grandfather "Gog" to Heather (Michael), John (Aimee), Paul, Brian, Colin and Danielle. Loving great-grandfather to Allison and Emily. Survived by brothers Tom, Gerard, Pat, of Toronto and James of Ireland. Predeceased by brother Neil of Ireland. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. While his wife and family were the most cherished and important part of his life, John touched many lives. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity and kindness, his love of Ireland, and his gift of Story telling. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. George Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London on Saturday, January 31st at 1 o'clock.
