Obituary of Carmela Rosaria Biviano

Biviano, Carmela Rosaria (nee Maiolino) At Parkwood Hospital on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, with family at her side, Camela Rosaria (Sara) of London passed away the age of 92. Dear wife of the late Christoforo Biviano (1976). Cherished mama of Josephine (Josie) and Christopher Anthony Biviano (Tony). Loving nonna to her six grandchildren Daniella and Christopher Horley; Joel, Hannah, Aaron and Samuel Biviano. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mama loved life and she made it her mission to feed everyone who had the pleasure to be around her. She always had a smile on her face, saw the good in everyone and loved to tell her family stories about her life and her treasured Sicily where she was born. She had a front row seat to the world on her front porch in the home where she lived for over 50 years; sometimes if you were luckily enough to walk by at the right time- you could hear her singing her favorite Italian folk songs. Her faith was steadfast throughout her entire life and her rosary was never far from reach. Our sincere thanks to all the staff on the 5th floor at Parkwood Hospital (Transitional Care Unit) for their sensitivity and care of our beloved mama. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London on Thursday, December 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica on Friday, December 5th at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers will be held at 3 o'clock on Thursday afternoon. Donations to the London Regional Cancer Program C/O L.H.S.F would be appreciated.
