Dear Kim and Family. I fondly recall your Dad in the early days at the Robarts School for the Deaf. Erling took enormous pride in lovingly caring for the then beautiful new building. He quietly went about his day rarely having a strong opinion, but often a humorous thought. As a new young teacher , I was a little intimidated, but as the years went on I truly saw the remarkable spirit that was Erling.
I am sorry for your loss but happy that Erling was able to have a long retirement.
