Obituary of Andre Paul Joseph Gauthier

Gauthier, Andy (Nov 10, 1938- Sept 27, 2019) Andy Gauthier passed away peacefully with his adoring daughter Nicole by his side. Loving husband of the late Joan Gauthier (nee Ramsay 2006). Devoted father of Nicole. Cherished grandpa of André and Samantha. Dear brother of Bob (Isabelle) Gauthier; loved by his many brothers and sisters-in-law. Uncle Andy will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Committed father and role model, Andy took an active role in the lives of his loved ones. He was a proud tradesman, his career in sheet metal lasting for over forty years; an avid handyman. Andy was a true athlete with a deep love and passion for hockey. He was an active member of the Huff and Puff Hockey League and will be missed by many of his teammates. The family sends a heartfelt thank-you to all the staff from Oakcrossing LTC for their loving support and dedicated care provided to Andy and his family. The celebration of life will be held at the Elsie Perrin Williams Estate, 101 Windemere Rd, on Sunday October 6 from 1 to 4 pm. Words of remembrance will be held at 2 o'clock. Private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
