Obituary of Jean Rita Myers

Myers Jean Rita (Orendorff nee Saville) Surrounded by her loving family at London Health Sciences Centre - University Hospital on Sunday, September 15th, 2019 Jean Rita Myers peacefully passed away at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late William T. Myers and the late John B. Orendorff. Loving mother of Jill Orendorff, John Orendorff (Ruth), Jeffrey Orendorff (Louise), Patrick J. Orendorff, Joseph G. Orendorff (late Jackie-Lynn), Christopher D. Orendorff (Denise Dixon) and Sarah Alegre (Claudio). Cherished grandmother of Chris (Adriana), Andrea (Mark), Leslie (Keith), Jack (Amy), Lashen, Michael (Valerie), Alexa, J.J., Gabrielle (Arturo), Nicholas, Aaron, Samuel, Thomas, Lucas (Brian), Samantha (Ben) and Brett (Jackie). Proud G.G. of Spencer, Samuel, John, Owen, Henry, Parker, Cole, Olivia, Kinsley, William, Elyse, Sloan, Piper and Emily. Dear sister of Elizabeth Burt, Patricia Radnick and Margaret Glass, predeceased by Phyllis Cook, Gregory Saville, William Saville, Eileen Malone, Sheila Lawlor, Hugh Saville and Gail Harper. Dear friend of Rika Orendorff. Jean graduated from the St. Joseph School of Nursing in 1951 and practised as an R.N. for 40 years. In her retirement she owned and operated "Inn The Wings" Bed and Breakfast in Stratford, Ontario for 12 years before returning back to London. A heartfelt thank you to all the Dr's, Nurses and staff at 7th floor University Hospital for their exceptional care of our mom. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London on Wednesday, September 18th from 2-4 and 6-8 o'clock. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. George Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London on Thursday afternoon at 12 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers donations to the London Regional Cancer Program c/o London Health Sciences Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
