Obituary of Robert William Alexander Hopf

Peacefully after a courageous battle at LHSC Victoria Hospital on Wednesday August 28 2019 Robert William Alexander Hopf in his 76th year passed away. Predeceased by beloved wife and best friend of 50 years Gladys Hopf (nee McDonald). Loving father of Toni (John), Kevin (Cindy), Kim (Rob) and Carl. Proud Papa to Katryna (Ryan), Kaley, Kam (Jenna), Sean, Shane, Shataira, Shailynn (Greg), Willow, Kevin, Toni, Michael, Robert, Dylan, Kimberley. Great Grandpa to Kolton, Austin, Owen, Karter, Rowan, Cedric, Maisy and Ella. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Martha Hopf and his brothers Carl, Ken, Gord and Doug Hopf. Uncle Bob will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Bob loved to fish, camp and spend time at the racetrack. Bob was full of knowledge, had an infectious smile and always treated those who met him like they were family. The family would like to extend our gratitude to the staff at LHSC Victoria Hospital Critical Care Trauma Center. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 7 to 9 o’clock. Funeral Service will be held in the John T. Donohue Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 12 o’clock. Donations to Heart and Stroke or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
