23 years ago in July Janie came into my husband and my life and changed it forever. You see, Janie was a friend with my family and also a friend with my husband Curt. Curt called her the cake lady because she always brought him cake I think because she felt bad for him because his wife left him and she loved his dog Sadie....long story short, Janie ended up introducing us to each other and because of this, our relationship turned into boyfriend/girlfriend then a year later Marraige and it has lasted 22 years this September. This year on our anniversary we will do something special and make her friendship cake and share it with our family and make a toast to a very special lady...we love you Janie and you will be missed but we will always remember your smile and your laughter and you will always be to us the cake lady...Helen and Curt Funk

To the family of Janie....we were so sorry to hear about Janie's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. She is a wonderful lady who is full of life and laughter.
