Obituary of Catherine Mary Harmsworth

Harmsworth, Catherine Mary (nee Cachia) Peacefully at L.H.S.C. - University Hospital with her family by her side on Sunday, January 20, 2019 aged 83 years. Loving wife of Roger of 60 years. Dear mother of Maryanne (Jim) Aitken, Thomas (Melissa) Harmsworth and Robert Harmsworth. Proud nanny of Lynda (Javier) and Jamie (Laurie) Harmsworth, Michael (Monique) and Cameron Aitken, Justin (Holly) Tornabuono, Rachel (Sylvia), Rebecca Harmsworth, and 6 great grandchildren. Catherine emigrated from Malta in 1952. She was a proud Maltese-Canadian. Catherine enjoyed more than 25 years working at Fanshawe College for Beaver Foods. The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses of the 4th and 5th floor at University Hospital for their support and care. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane, on Friday morning at 10:30. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery with reception to follow back at the church hall. Prayers Thursday evening at 7 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
