Dear Janice, Patsy and Sister Genevieve Anne,
May I offer my sympathies and condolences on the demise of Mark. I offered Mass this morning for Mark's intentions. I haven't seen Janice and Patsy for decades but I have seen Sister Genevieve at their Mother House in London. I don't know Mark's family at all. I also offer my condolences to them. I always enjoyed the visit of the Ouellette family when they came to visit us on the farm or when we visited them. Uncle Bert was my God-father.

Dear Cindy and family. Hearing of Mark's death brings sadness to me as well as a flood of beautiful life enriching memories. I spent 4 years with Mark at St. Peter's Seminary and had many evenings where we chatted and discussed and solved the problems of the world. We shared a love of literature and music and often took in concerts at the Alumni Hall. I send blessings to you Cindy and the children. “Death is not extinguishing the light; it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.” ( Rabindranath Tagore).

My deepest sympathies to all of Mark’s family. I recently retired from parish work, but Mark was always a pleasure to work with. He made himself available to assist with any questions or concerns, and always did so with a joyful countenance and caring heart. He truly embodied what it means to be a Catholic. May he Rest In Peace and may his family take comfort in their wonderful memories of him.

Cyndy, I’m so sorry for your loss. I got to know Mark through the set up crew of the Alpha program this past fall. In that short time, I came to enjoy working side by side on Wednesday’s. I appreciated his deep faith and quick smile. He will be truly missed. I hold you and your family in my prayers during this difficult time.
