Statchuk Phyllis Betty (Kowalchuk) January 1, 1940 -June 1, 2014 Peacefully at her home in Grand Bend on Sunday June 1st, 2014. Beloved wife of Maurice Statchuk. Loving mother of Barry Statchuk (Carol), Deb Austin(Chris), Darrin Statchuk(Leslie Gray-Statchuk),Brent Statchuk(Brigette). Cherished Baba of Ashley (Adam)Granville(nee Statchuk), Rachel Stubbens( Chris) (nee Statchuk), Rebecca Statchuk, Ally Austin, Tyler Austin, Meghan Statchuk, Callum Statchuk, Kelsey Statchuk, and Makenzie Statchuk. Proud Great Baba of Kathryn Granville, Justin Granville. A special thanks would like to be extended to Ellen Shaule the VON caregiver who was a source of strength through Phyllis' journey from home. The family would not have survived without her kindness and soft wit. A warm thank-you to Dr. Cathy Faulds who made many home visits to Grand Bend.
