My dearest Santola...I will always remember you as the spunky little momma and best friend to my late mother Maria. You two were once inseparable and I grew up watching the two of you as independent, strong, fierce and committed to your family. I loved our family gatherings and celebrations and I will treasure those memories forever. It gives me comfort in some way that your two spirits are now connected forever...and that you have each other to laugh. I can only picture that in my mind. I thank you for my dearest friend of 56 years, your daughter Sylvia who I have shared many triumphs and heartache with. She loved you so... my promise to you my dear Santola is to be the kind of friend to your daughter that you were to my mother and she to you. I am comforted that I got to see you last week. Rest in peace...love always, Graziella.
