Obituary of Agnes Wray McAdam
McADAM, AGNES WRAY
Born in Scotland on May 6th, 1924 and passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on May 14th, 2017 at University Hospital in London, Ontario. She was the wife of John Andrew McAdam (deceased). She will be missed by the McAdam family, notably: her brother-in-law Bill (Lorraine), her sister-in-law Mary and their families, her two stepsons: John (Laurette) and Richard (Lucia). She was a very caring Grandma to Emilie, Angie May and Valerie and Great Grandma to James, Anthony, William, Leam and Allie. She was loved and cherished by the Wray family in Scotland, notably: her late sisters Margaret and Evelyn and her late brother John and also the Irving family; her nephews Ronnie (Wendy) and Brian (deceased) and her niece Rita. She was a loving Auntie to Kirsty (Stuart), Karen (Robert) and Great Auntie to Emily, Lewis, Marcus and Finlay. Agnes loved dearly her closest friends: Bernice Green, Lydia Favaro, Fr. Murray Sample, Karen and Gil Owens and her faith community at St. Michael’s Parish. The Family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at University Hospital for their exceptional care of Agnes and also thank the caring and supportive staff at Masonville Manor who always made her feel at home. Visitors will be received at St. Michael’s Church, 511 Cheapside Street, on Saturday morning, May 20th from 9:45 until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30.
