Obituary of Mac Lennan Cundle

Cundle, Mac Lennon – Peacefully in his 75 th year, after a well-fought battle Mac passed away surrounded by his family. Best friend, and husband of Ruth Anne (Duggan). Best Dad, and constant source of laughter and encouragement to Lisa, Carolyn (Scott) and Father to Mark. Proud Grandpa to Ashley (who he liked to call Burger), Aaron, Rachel, Erica, Allison, Tyler, Payton and Holly. Great Grandpa to Kaleb and Kohen. His grandkids were the light of his life, their smiles meant the world to him. He loved spending time at the rink, or on the pitch; he was their biggest cheerleader! He will be missed by his furry friends Bailey and Keela. Predeceased by parents, John and Edith Cundle, and siblings, Tom (Marlene, Mike, Anne and Doris), Duncan (Karen) and Judy. Brother in law of Walter and Louise Duggan, Rose and Arch MacDonald, Louise and Paul Hatton, Carl (deceased) and Mary Duggan, Bernie and Susan Duggan (both deceased) and Ina Duggan (deceased). Last but not least my son in law Scott, "you were more than a son to me, the times we spent golfing and fishing were the best! You will have to use my fishing rod if you want to catch the big one!" Much thanks to the CCAC palliative care team, Deanna, Linda, Lindsay and Chantal. Thanks also to Reece, Matt and Olivia- you being there with us was a great comfort! In lieu of donations Mac wanted us to laugh lots, go fishing, have fun, live every day and pretend to love the Montreal Canadians and the Detroit Tigers! He wanted everyone to smile in his memory, celebrate each day and be happy. In true Mac fashion, this was written by Mac himself! Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, May 11th, 2017 from 11 o'clock until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 o'clock. Cremation has taken place.
