Obituary of Virginia Leigh Bollis

Bollis, Virginia Leigh (nee Middleton) Peacefully at LHSC - University Hospital on Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 Virginia Leigh Bollis in her 95th year. Loving wife of the late George Bollis. Cherished mother of Tom Bollis, Ellie Loeffler (Jack Taverner), Jeannie Bailey (Doug), Lorrie Schiepan (Ron), and Nick Bollis (Maggie). Predeceased by her daughter Rose Rutter. Proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bobbie Winslow of Florida. Virginia will be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at The Chapel at Windermere on the Mount - Christ the King University Parish, 1486 Richmond Street North on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday evening at 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
