Obituary of Almerinda Manini

Manini, Almerinda "Alma" It is with great sadness the family of Almerinda Manini announces her passing. Peacefully on February 14th, 2017, with her beloved family surrounded by her side at CCTC, LHSC Victoria Hospital. Wife of loving husband Antonio Manini of 53 years. Beloved mother of Ada Manini, Dina and her husband John Agostinelli. Beloved Nonna of Brandon, Justin and Matteo. Loving sister of Egidio Casasanta and late wife Carla. Robert and Enza Casasanta. Loving sister in law to Teresa and Louisa Casasanta. Alma was predeceased by her parents Vincenzo and Vincenza Casasanta and her brothers Antonio and Angelo Casasanta. She is survived by her sister in law Angela and her husband Mario DeLellis and her family. She will sadly missed by her beloved friend/sister Lucy and her husband Nick D’Ascanio and their families. Alma was blessed with many loving nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, USA and Italy. Special thanks to Dr. Welch and his team. Special thanks to the CCTC for their compassion and professionalism. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St. at King St., on Friday February 17th, from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle St. at York St. on Saturday morning, February 18th at 11:30. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 8:15. Donations to London Regional Cancer Program, Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund.
