Obituary of Joan Hetherington

Hetherington, Joan Peacefully three days after her 88th birthday with her family by her side Joan Hetherington after a brief illness passed away on February 3, 2017. Loving mother of Diane Stamp-Bender (Eric) her favourite son in law of London, Marie Sheculski (late Brian 1985) of London and Gordon (Lori) her favourite daughter in law of Calgary. Proud grandmother of Chris Sheculski (Carolyn) of London, Shane Stamp of Toronto and Chris Stamp of London, England. Cherished great grandmother of Emily and Julia Sheculski. Aunt Joan will be missed by her nieces, nephews, especially Phyllis Lamont with who she had many wonderful times together. Joannie will be fondly remembered by friends, neighbours, and longtime co-workers from North Star Ice Company. The family would like to thank the staff at University Hospital, both from the ICU and Palliative Care teams for their wonderful and compassionate care of our mom. Cremation has taken place.
