Obituary of Yvonne Rita Gatt

GATT, Yvonne Rita (nee Grixiti) - Peacefully at L.H.S.C. University Hospital with her family by her side on Thursday, February 2, 2017, Yvonne Gatt, at the age of 89. Loving wife of Francis Gatt for 69 years. Dear mother of George (Sandie) Gatt, Fred (Maria) Gatt and Ray (Kathy) Gatt. Proud Nana of 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She is survived by Doris Wilson, Jim Grixiti and Tony Grixiti. Predeceased by her parents Catherine and John Grixiti and her siblings Mary Pardi, Fred Grixiti and Paul Grixiti. The family would like to thank the staff from Kensington Village and L.H.S.C. University Hospital. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, February 6th from 5-8 o'clock with a prayer service at 6 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Avenue at Dundas Street on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to St. Joseph's Hospice would be appreciated.
