Obituary of Jean Mindorff

Mindorff, Jean Peacefully at LHSC University Hospital on Thursday, January 26, 2017 Jean Mindorff (nee Sherbourne) age 91 years. Dear wife of the late Frank Mindorff. Loving mother of Theresa English (Paul), Richard Mindorff,, Joe Mindorff (Louise), Ray Mindorff and Tony Mindorff (Marian). Jean and Frank met during the war, moved to Canada and were married in Chatham in 1949. Jean's working life began with the Bank of England, continued with her starting a church credit union in Wallaceburg and moved on to the Bank of Nova Scotia until her retirement. In Jean's retirement year's she lived for visits and phone calls from her grandchildren; Greg, Laura, Dave, Stephanie, Maggie, Madison, Jon, Phil, Holly and Leah and her great grandchildren; Quintin, Shandon, Chase, Dayton, Jordyn, Ethan and Katie. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, January 31st from 2-4 and 6-8 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. George Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, on Wednesday morning, February 1st at 9:30am. Interment in New St. Anthony's Cemetery, Chatham at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of SWO would be appreciated.
