Smelser, Agnes Peacefully at the Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke on Monday, April 21, 2014 Agnes (Ward) Smelser in her 92nd year, born in Manchester England. Beloved wife of the late Whitmore Smelser (1997). Loving mother of Mary Catherine (Ron) Haight, Konrad (Sandra) Smelser, Jan (Cheryl) Smelser, Marguerite (Tom) Chapman, and Christine Smelser. Proud grandmother of Theresa Haight and Michael (Stephanie) Haight Christopher (Alex), Paul (Melinda) and Stephen (Addie) Smelser, Rae (Jen) Smelser, Nykki-Lynn Smelser, Jenna (Michael) Bennett, and Andrew Chapman. Cherished great grandmother of William and Michael Smelser, Tyra, Tayla and Rylan Smelser and Madison Bennett. Agnes was the last surviving sibling of eleven born to John and Catherine Ellen Ward. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday evening, April 23rd from 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Justin's Church, 855 Jalna Blvd. on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday evening at 8:30 o'clock.
