Battaglini, Alessandro At LHSC Victoria Hospital on Thursday, Ocotber 27, 2016 Alessandro Battaglini in his 85th year. Dear husband of the late Rita (Cercone) Battaglini. Loving father of Christine Mancari and her husband Gabe. Proud nonno of David (Tina) Mancari and Mark (Lise) Mancari. Adoring great nonno of Lucas, Brandon, Grayson and Kayden. Dear brother of Maria DiGiadomenico (late Victor) and Amelia Fronzaglia (late Albert). Dear brother in law of Paul Cercone (late Connie), Lidia Lalama (late Donato), Vince Cercone (Concetta), Flavia Cercone (late Pietro) and late Giuseppina Cercone. Dearly missed by Ralph and Nicky Battaglini, long time and best friends for 60 years. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, October 31st from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Tuesday morning, November 1st at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. In lieu of flowers donations to the Children's Health Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
