Sonia Marie Carruthers Peacefully at Kensington Village on Monday, October 24th, 2016 Sonia Carruthers at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late George Carruthers (1976) Predeceased by her son George (2013), Grandson Ian (1997), and sisters Mary, Olga and brother John. Loving Mother of Sharon Carruthers, London, Ont., Christopher Carruthers, Tillsonburg, Ont., Patricia Brady (Allin), Keswick, Ont., Janice Kelly (John), Norwich, Ont. Loving Mother-in-law to Maricha, Vancouver, B.C. Loving Grandmother to Mark, Sarah, Patrick, Andrea, Paul, Allyson, Nathan, Adam, Benjamin, Christopher, Nicholas and Lyndsay. Loving Great Grandmother to Tatiana, Ashley, Aiden, Penelope, Chloe, Brennan, Sebastian and Audrey. Special thanks to the staff at Kensington Village in London. For the care they gave to Sonia they will hold a special place in our hearts. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London on Tuesday, November 1st from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Church, 777 Valetta Street on Tuesday, November 1st at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Blood Services in memory of Sonia would be appreciated.
