Obituary of Elsie Brown

BROWN: Elsie Margaret Mary Peacefully at Marian Villa on Friday April 18th, 2014, Elsie Margaret Mary Brown in her 99th year. Loving sister of Betty Lasek. Dear aunt of Elise Acheson (Tom), Rosemary Breault Landry (Ken), Nancy Brown Brunton (Doug), Jim Brown, Greg Brown (Debbie), Patty Worden (Rae) and Mary Catherine Delange (Ted). She is also survived by 16 great nieces and nephews as well as 6 great-great nieces and nephews. Elsie is predeceased by her parents Henry Charles and Julia (nee Maloney) Brown; siblings Monica Breault, Jim Brown; her brothers-in-law Henri Breault and Frank Lasek and her sister-in-law Joan Brown. Elsie spent many years in service to the Crown Attorney's Office, London and had several passions outside of work; including golfing at the Highland Country Club, curling, playing bridge and travelling Europe. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Helma Davis for her wonderful companionship, and to the staff of Marian Villa, fourth floor, for the excellent care and kindness that was shown to Elsie. In keeping with Elsie's wishes cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Donations to the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation, in memory of Elsie, would be appreciated.
