Our condolences to the Maher family. My brother Gary and I lived with Jim during our college years in the early 80s. He was a class act; kind, generous and always up for a good laugh. We had good times together. I feel fortunate to have seen him for the last time a couple of months ago. He hadn't changed a bit. I am proud to have known him as a friend.

To all members of the Maher family: It was evident that Jim loved his parents and family. He expressed this thought through out his life.Jessie was the center of his life and he did a great job of instructing and caring for her. He gave her an understanding of the Catholic faith and belief. I and my brother Tom enjoyed Jim's friendship and our many memorable camping travels. He will certainly be remembered fondly by the Morris family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. From: Louise and Jim Morris of Timmins.
