Obituary of Marilyne Joanne Brennan
Marilyne Brennan (née DuCharme), aka Joanne, Jo, Memma (to grandkids Luke and Emma), Jack, Duch, MerlaMae and more, left this place with grace, with her most prized possessions by her side – her kids (Denise, Danielle and John). A life lived less ordinary, a palliative care nurse and advocate to the end, committed to social justice and proud of the chance at a latter
day opportunity for activism. Well loved by too many to mention, she will be greatly missed by her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews & cousins, connected by geneaology or chosen by circumstance. Shoppers Drug Mart, Walpole Island and the various shores of Lakes Huron and Erie will never be the same. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis-St. Martin Church, 46
Cathcart Street, on Tuesday, July 12th at 10 o'clock. Cremation has taken place. Celebration to follow at Grandma & Papa DuCharme's at 185 Springbank Dr. Bring a lawnchair and some handpicked wild flowers if you like, and a healthy appetite for joy, music and food. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Joseph's Hospice. John T. Donohue Funeral Home
