Obituary of Antonio Caranci

CARANCI, Antonio Peacefully, surrounded by his family at LHSC Victoria Hospital on Sunday, April 10, 2016 Antonio“Tony” Caranci in his 84th year. Predeceased by his late wife Mariannina “Anna” Caranci (2008). Best Dad ever to his children Aldo and his wife Mirella, Roger and his wife Sylvie, Angela D'Oria and her husband Tony, and Dino and his wife Eliana. Also fondly remembered by Elizabeth Norris. Cherished Nonno to Joshua, Jordan, Nathan, Jeremy, Nunziatina, Cassandra, Selena, Anthony, Stathis and Stefano. Special friend to Roxanne and Dominique. Dear brother to Alfredo and his wife Rosa. Dear brother-in-law to Carmelina (Nicola) and Pina (Sabatino) in Italy and the late Salvatore Iavazzi (Darlene) and Agostino Iavazzi (Connie) in London. Predeceased by his siblings Amerigo (Angelina), Felice (Elvira) and Livia Vitaterna (Nicola). Remembered by many nieces and nephews and by his many friends. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 345 Lyle Street at York Street on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Entombment at St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated
