Obituary of Susan Martellotti

Peacefully at LHSC - University Hospital on Saturday, March 26, 2016, Susan Martellotti, surrounded by her family at the age of 56. Dear, cherished and loving wife of Wayne Burke. Loving sister of Fred Martellotti and his wife Frances. Loving step-mother of Megan Simpson, Leslie and Dana Burke, and step-grandmother of Alex Simpson. A true friend to sister-in-law Michelle Haggerty and her children, Theron and Marissa. Doting Zia to Michael Martellotti, Christina Kean and her husband Ryan. Fun ZiZi to Brendan and Taylor Kean. Very proud billet mom to her “little boys” Josh Anderson, Julius Bergman, Matthew Tkachuk and head Italian chef to many of their teammates over the years. Predeceased by her parents Francesco and Maria Martellotti, and in-laws Ron and Barb Burke. Susan retired from the O.P.P. in 2014 after a 35 year career as a civilian member. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, March 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to Children’s Health Foundation would be appreciated.
