Obituary of Charles Ogle Downing

Downing, Charles Ogle Peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home on Saturday, March 12, 2016, Charles Downing passed away in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Margaret "Peggy" (nee Kuntz) for 50 years. Loving father of Christopher (Maureen) of London, Peter (Brenda) of Saskatoon, Elizabeth (Harvey) Sharpe of London, Barbara (Peter) Goettling of Cambridge, and Ted (Melinda) of London. Proud grandfather of Dylan, Michael, Matthew, Alexandre, Rebecca, Jacob and Eric, and great-grandfather of Kacey. Predeceased by his parents Cecil Ogle Downing and Irene Marie Colby. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday evening from 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis - St. Martin Catholic Parish, 46 Cathcart Street, on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mary Knoll Missions (Sisters) or St. Francis - St. Martin Building Fund would be appreciated.
