Obituary of Mario De Rita

Peacefully at Parkwood Institute, on Sunday, March 6, 2016, in his 69th year, Mario De Rita. Loving husband of Brigitte "Gitta" De Rita. Cherished father of Michael "Fulvio" and his wife Vanessa De Rita, and John De Rita. Adored Nonno of Mikaila and Olivia. Brother of Daniele (Antonietta) De Rita, Loreto (Mohila) De Rita, Tony (Maria) De Rita and Maria De Rita. Predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Agata De Rita, and by his sisters Angela Steiner (Gilberto) and Lucia Celada (Loris). Loving son-in-law of Gerda Krzesinski. Dear brother-in-law of Irene Circelli (Sal). Zio Mario will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Virgie and Denise from Parkwood Institute and Dr. Tancio from Victoria Hospital-Palliative care, for their compassion and care. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday from 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow with private interment of ashes in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday at 8:15 pm.
