Obituary of Gerard Anthony Heggarty

Heggarty, Gerard Anthony born October 07, 1928 Surrounded by his family at home on Sunday, Febuary 28th, 2016 Gerry Heggarty in his 87th year. Beloved father of Michael and his wife Elizabeth. Loving grandfather of Nigel Patrick and Colin Michael. Dear brother of Teresa and brother in law to Valerie (Rick) Harnett and Patrick (Betty) McLaughlin. Predeceased by his brothers Bill, John and sister Mary. Uncle Gerry will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews both here in Canada, the USA and Scotland. The many students he instructed during his tenure at Fanshawe College as well. Visitors will be received at St. George Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, on Saturday morning from 11 o'clock until the time of the Funeral Mass at 12 noon. A lunch will be served afterwards. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Donations to the London area Cancer Society would be appreciated.
