Obituary of Grace Mary Smith

Smith, Grace Mary (nee Kelly) Peacefully in her 89th year, at Sunrise Senior Living in Windsor, Ontario on Saturday February 13th, 2016. Former resident of Longworth Senior Living in London, Ontario. Predeceased by her loving husband Robert of 55 years. Loving mother of Gary Smith, Windsor, Patsy and Jim Mulveney, Tecumseh, Joan and Rick Seguin, Belle River, John and Marie Smith, Woodslee, Mary Ann and Greg O'Hearne, Toronto,and Rob and Belinda Smith, Belmont. Proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jim and Jean Kelly, Dan and Madeline Kelly and Mary Ellen and Pat Feeney. Predeceased by sister Margaret Quinlan (Mike) and Jean Côte (Tom). Predeceased by brothers Jerome Kelly (Theresa) and Tom Kelly (Marg). Dear sister-in-law of Don and Dolly, Jerry and Diane, Roy and Betty Ann, Reg and Judy. Predeceased by Ken (Betty), Harold (Evelyn), Jack (Eleanor) and Frank (June). Grace was active with Meals on Wheels, the CWL, and The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Even with these commitments she still found time to bowl, curl, knit and a good card game. Family was her number one priority along side her devotion to her faith. The affectionate shake of her finger with her smile let you know you had her approval. She will be sadly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know her. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Tuesday afternoon, February 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, and at St. George Catholic Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London, on Wednesday morning from 9 o'clock until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
