Obituary of William Thomas Granger

Granger, William "Bill" Thomas It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bill at home with family in his 69th year, after a courageous fight with cancer on Friday, September 23, 2011. Beloved husband and childhood sweetheart of Gloria (Jones). Proud father of Bill Jr (Paula), and Bob (Karen) Granger. He will be greatly missed by his cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Alexis, Mikayla, and Ben Granger to whom he was greatly devoted. Bill also leaves behind his brother James (Carol) Granger, mother in law Laura (Jones) Ryder, brothers in law Reginald (Joan) Jones, Eugene (Jane) Jones. and sister in law Phillis (Warren) Hird. Bill was predeceased by his parents Charles and Martha Granger, brother Charles "Sonny" (Ann) Granger, sisters Madeline (Dick) Squire and Ruth (Leslie) Barber. He was a favourite uncle of several nieces and nephews. Bill was a long time employee of Emco Ltd - Delta Faucet and completed his working career as Director of Engineering for Masco Canada. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed sharing his passion for the sport with his wife, sons and grandchildren. He was his grandchildren's biggest fan at their soccer, baseball and hockey games. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London on Tuesday, September 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Wednesday, September 28 from 11 o'clock until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the Victorian Order of Nurses - Palliative Care Program or to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
