Obituary of Helen Mitchell

At Stratford General Hospital on August 23, 2011, Helen Josephine Mitchell (nee Kurtz), predeceased by her loving husband Robert Mitchell. A wonderful mother to James (Jeanne) Lavelle of Florida, William (Jill, predeceased) Lavelle of Alberta, Mary Elizabeth (Betty) (Fred) Dubrick of Stratford. Beloved mother in law of Hank Kirby of Florida. Dear sister of Mary Schmidt of Petrolia and Beatrice Jones of London. Also survived by many grand children and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Predeceased by her daughter Faye Kirby and her sons Boyd and Christopher Lavelle. Also predeceased by her brothers Leon, William, Ray and Clarence Kurtz. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, corner of Dufferin Ave., and Richmond St., on Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Cremation with interment to follow at a later date. Prayers Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Donations to St. Peter's Restoration Fund or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
