Uncle Pat is the last of his generation in our family to pass. I believe he was part of the greatest generation - one the survived the Great Depression, when people had nothing, to volunteering to serve their country in WWII and, in effect, save the world. These men came home, didn't complain, but instead started families and built Canada into the great country it is today. So rest easy, Uncle Pat. You earned it.

Valiquette family........it is with sadness that I learned of the passing of one of Aylmer's greats and true originals. Our families have been best of friends for many decades and at times like this we get to celebrate such treasured friendships. A father, grandfather, great grandfather, a friend, neighbor, sportsman, a man of deep faith and above all a wonderful husband now gets to go home and bask in God's kingdom.
