Obituary of Theresa Bulani

Bulani, Mary Theresa Dorothy (nee Larose dit Saurette) Peacefully after a long illness borne with courage and grace "Tissa" in her 80th year died Thursday, August 4, 2011, as she wished in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family. Lovely, loving wife to Walter and devoted mother to Sue Ann (George), Brent and family, Synthia and family, Phi (Anne and Theo) and Maria. She cherished her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her life long friendship with her loyal friend Diana Stott. She was predeceased by her two younger brothers Bernard and Joseph (1940), her father Joseph Alphonse Larose dit Saurette (1965), her mother Mary Dorothy (nee Kyffin) (1975), her elder sister Alma (2004) and her dear family friend Father Brian Moon (2011). She expressed her profound faith with compassion and a generosity of spirit. She shared her love of music as freely as she shared her sense of humour, which was appreciated by all and a sweet inspiration to all who knew her. She loved everyone she met and those who knew her will miss her dearly. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Saturday August 20, 2011 at 10 o'clock; Father James Mockler officiating, interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. A reception will be held following the interment at Grosvenor Lodge, 1017 Western Road at 1 o'clock. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Father Andrew Kowalczyk, Dr. Arcia Bravo, Dr. Breymer, Gail Johnson, Dr. Gil Schreier, Grace Bradish , Margaret Ward, Mary Ehrismann, Sonia Gutierrez and dear Linda Bekiroglu for their gentle, tender, loving care. It is her wish that family and friends continue daily to celebrate their lives in her memory. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Theresa Bulani. Arrangements entrusted to John T.
