Obituary of Eva Marjorie Mitchell

Loving mother of Ann Marie (Jerry) Mitchell-Bergsma of Poplar Hill. Survived by her cherished sister Lenore (Alphonse) Mitchell, and her dear nieces Lynda, Lorraine (Jack) Juffermans, Angela (Greigg) Fraser. Sister in law of Bernard (Donna), Mike, Fred, and Mary Margaret Mitchell. Will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and great granddaughter Helen Horst. Predeceased by loved parents Leonard and Dorothy McDonnell. Eva was a loyal CWL member for 58 years and is considered a life long member. Father Spencer asked her to get involved and she became Diocesan President for two terms (1990-1992). From there she sat for two terms on the Provincial Council as a representitive from the diocese. She was also on the St. Martin of Tours Parish Council and a founding member of its card group. Thank you for the many kindnesses shown to Eva from the staff and residents of Middlesex Terrace Nursing Home. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday morning, May 30th from 10-11:30. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Church, 46 Cathcart Street, on Monday, May 30th at 12 noon. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
