Whiston, Dr. Herbert G. Peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 Dr. Herbert G. Whiston at the age of 84. Beloved husband for 55 years of Iris Whiston. Loving father of Mark, Jeremy and Fiona Whiston and Katie Slabon and her husband Chris. Dear father in law of Frances. Cherished papa of Brian, Caroline, Emily, Hillary, Claire, Sarah, Julia, David and Maggie. Great grandfather of Kincaid. Bert will be fondly remembered by many relatives in the U.K. and Australia. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours Church, 46 Cathcart Street, on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
