Obituary of Irene Zammit

ZAMMIT, Irene Passed away peacefully at Westmount Gardens on January 6, 2014 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph (1994), who would have just celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on January 3. Loving mother of Yvonne Mitchell (Glen) and Rosemarie Zammit. Cherished Nana of Brianna (her fiancée Drew) and Elyse (her partner Jason). Dear sister of Mary, Lily and Lourdes and the late Adeline, Joseph, Anthony, Charles and Lucy. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Irene will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and as someone who had a true zest for life. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, Dufferin Avenue at Richmond Street on Thursday morning January 9, 2014 at 11 o'clock. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
