Obituary of Josephine Magdalene McGarry

McGarry, Josephine "Jaye" Peacefully at Mt. Hope Centre for Long-Term Care on Friday, February 13, 2009 Josephine "Jaye" McGarry in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Tom McGarry. Loving mother of Maureen Spencer Golovchenko (Phil Spencer, BGen Ret'd), Tom McGarry Jr. and Monica McGarry, all of London. Treasured grandma of Christopher Golovchenko, Jennifer, Lisa, Rob and Ashley McGarry. Dear sister of Doris McGrath, John Dedyna (Susan), Jeannette McDonald (Claude), Clara Wunder (Jim) and sister in law of Connie Dedyna. Predeceased by her sisters Mary Rieck (Jerry), Rose Hodgins (Clarence), Angie Smith (Russ) Toni Seibert (Ted), her brother Joe Dedyna and her brother in law Jim McGrath. Mother in law of Dawn-Marie McGarry. Aunt Jaye will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Jaye was retired from Customs and Excise, a long time parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, a member of the C.W.L. and the Emerald Isle Society. Thanks to all those people who have enriched Jaye's life over the years. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday evening, February 16th from 7-9 o'clock and Tuesday, February 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Church, 777 Valetta Street, on Wednesday morning , February 18th at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock.
