Obituary of Jeanne Lucie Britton

Britton Peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Decemeber 5, 2008, Jeanne Lucie Britton (LaFleche) at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Leonard William Britton. Dear and cherished mother of Mil Winter, Jeanne (Bob) Latella, Bill (Linda) Britton, Frances (Earl) Flynn, Marie (Maurice) Ayotte and Margaret (Tom) Prosser. Much loved grandmother of Martha, Mark, Cathy, Michele, David, Paul, Jacqueline, Matthew, Chris, Angela, Dan, Jane, Susan, Tom, Linda, Michael, Michelle, Patty, Caroline, Shawn, Jenny and Sarah. Also survived by 62 wonderful great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Dear sister of Gerard, Helene and Jacqueline. Predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters, sons in law, Bill Winter and Jim Coombs and by her great grandson Richard Britton Flynn. Our heartfelt gratitude to Mom's devoted caregivers with special thanks to Candy. Thank you also to Dr. Margrieta Edels for her devoted and wonderful care of Mom. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street at Maitland on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
