Obituary of Elizabeth Rose Cramer

Cramer On September 15, 2008 Elizabeth (Betty) Rose Cramer passed away surrounded by those she loved. She lived a very full and active life and battled her recent ill health with typical determination. She was the wife of the late John Cramer and the devoted and much loved mother of Dyanne Wheatley (Frank), Lynne Melanson (Jacques), Lisa Clarke and Roger Cramer (Gail). She gave unconditional love to her grandchildren and was a central person in their lives; John Luke and Justin Wheatley, Angela and Sean Melanson, Melanie, Jeremy and Daniel Clarke and Drew Cramer. She will be greatly missed by her sister Rosemarie Homer (Ted, deceased) and her brother Roger Bernardo (Pauline). She was the much-loved "Aunt Betty" to many and always welcomed friends and family into her home and into her life. She was a loyal friend and a life-long volunteer of the St. Joseph's Hospital and Mount Hope Auxiliary. She was a woman of character who will be forever missed. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 777 Valetta Street, on Friday morning at 11:30 o'clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations in Betty's memory may be made to St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation or St. Joseph's Hospitality Centre.
